Raya Williams BSc, MSc
Integrative Therapist / Counsellor
Logosynthesis® Practitioner and Instructor
I work with people who want something in their lives to change. You may be dealing with a painful experience, an emotional reaction that keeps returning, or a pattern you cannot quite make sense of. You may also be looking for a clearer sense of purpose,
connection or direction.
My academic background is in Psychology and Counselling, with a BSc in Psychology and Counselling and an MSc in Psychology. I later trained extensively in Logosynthesis and became both a certified Practitioner and an Instructor.
Logosynthesis is the main approach I use. My wider therapeutic training and background helps me consider the emotional, physical, creative and practical aspects of what you bring.
I work online with clients in the UK and internationally, supporting both personal and professional concerns.
How I work
I am warm, thoughtful and straightforward. I want to understand what is happening for you, what matters to you and what you would like to be different.
Our sessions include conversation, careful exploration and focused Logosynthesis work. Where helpful, I also draw on counselling, attention to bodily experience and creative approaches. We discuss what feels appropriate for you.
You do not need to arrive with a clear explanation. We can begin with a specific difficulty, a strong reaction or simply a sense that something is missing. If you need a non-judgmental space to talk, to be seen and to be heard without applying anything else, that is also good use of a session.
My role is to ask useful questions; help you notice connections and work with what emerges. There is room for your beliefs, questions and doubts, without any expectation that you share mine.

Writing about Logosynthesis has allowed me to explore the model from the inside out: not simply how to apply it, but to know how and why its ideas fit together.
And outside work…
I am also an artist, writer and enthusiastic observer of human behaviour.
I love nature, travel, interesting conversations, art and cake.
I find beauty in people’s quirks, contradictions and imperfections—the things that make us all human.
